The Symbols on the standard.
The big motive on the standard shows one of the many mytical creatures , you see in the border on the tapestry.
Every one of the embroidereers has been sewing a triangle. Each one has chosen a personal symbol, some two. There is a symbol at the front and one at the back side. Some of the motives are from the Bayeuxtapestry or from the Viking Age generally.
The triangels follows the name of the embroiderer in the presentation here.
